The Berry family has been in the jewelry business for over 30 years.  Cheryl Berry, the founder of American Gold Parties, is a gold buyer who dealt exclusively with local establishments in the South Florida area.  After discovering it would be more fun and profitable to purchase directly from her friends, neighbors and other gold sellers in her area, she started hosting gold parties at her friend's personal residences.  

Cheryl's son, David Berry, came into the business after graduating from college in California.  With the help of long time friend Erik Hansen, they created the American Gold Parties site to offer the gold party experience coast to coast. Cheryl and David have teamed up with several other trusted friends and family members to form a strong network of professional gold buyers across the country. The American Gold Parties team is truly a family, and we love to meet new hosts and train representatives from cities across the nation. American Gold Parties was founded on trust and integrity, but we focus on creating a fun experience for everyone.

In November 2010, the first American Gold Parties showroom was opened in Mobile, AL.  This new location offers a place for people to walk-in and receive cash on the spot for their unwanted gold, silver and even coins.   The showroom features a comfortable setting for anyone to come and experience individually or with a group of friends!  In March 2011, the second American Gold Parties showroom was opened in Daphne, AL.  Erik and David are currently in the process of opening a few new locations along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. 

The team's strong work ethic, experience and genuine enthusiasm for the business is unrivaled.
